This Privacy Policy applies to the Pentagonal Star Logistics Management System (the "System"). The System provides package management, shipment tracking, and delivery management services for courier logistics in South Africa and South Sudan. We value the protection of your personal information and will handle it in accordance with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and other applicable laws and regulations.

1. Inleiding

Hierdie Privaatheidsbeleid is van toepassing op die Pentagonal Star Logistieke Bestuurstelsel (die "Stelsel"). Die Stelsel bied pakketbestuur, vragopsporing en afleweringsbestuursdienste vir koerierlogistiek in Suid-Afrika en Suid-Soedan. Ons hanteer u persoonlike inligting in ooreenstemming met Suid-Afrika se Wet op die Beskerming van Persoonlike Inligting (POPIA) en ander toepaslike wette en regulasies.

2. Inligting wat ons insamel

3. Hoe ons inligting gebruik

Ons verwerk u persoonlike inligting slegs in die mate wat nodig is vir die volgende doeleindes:

  • Lewering van internasionale koerierlogistiekdienste (insameling, vervoer, aflewering, ondertekening);
  • Vragbestuur en logistieke roete-opsporing;
  • Kliëntediens, uitsonderingshantering en terugvoer;
  • Voldoening aan wetlike, regulatoriese, doeane- en veiligheidsvereistes;
  • Stelselbeveiligingsonderhoud en operasionele ouditering.

4. Berging en Sekuriteit

U persoonlike inligting word op bedieners binne Suid-Afrika gestoor. Ons tref die volgende sekuriteitsmaatreëls:

  • Geënkripteerde oordrag (HTTPS) en toegangsbeheer;
  • Wagwoorde word geënkripteer gestoor, nooit in gewone teks nie;
  • Operasierekords word bewaar vir sekuriteitsouditering;
  • Gereelde rugsteun om dataverlies te voorkom.

5. Deling en Oorgrens-oordrag

As gevolg van die aard van koerierbesigheid, kan ontvangerinligting oorgedra word tussen stasies in Suid-Afrika en Suid-Soedan vir laaste-myl aflewering. Ons deel slegs die nodige inligting binne die omvang van besigheidsbehoefte en vereis dat ontvangers beskermingsmaatreëls tref wat vergelykbaar is met hierdie Beleid. Ons sal nie u persoonlike inligting aan onverwante derde partye verskaf nie, behalwe soos deur die wet vereis of met u afsonderlike toestemming.

6. Databewaring

Ons bewaar u persoonlike inligting slegs vir die tydperk wat nodig is om die verwerkingsdoeleindes te bereik, en sal dit daarna uitvee of anonimiseer in ooreenstemming met toepaslike wette.

7. U Regte

U het die reg om toegang tot, kopiëring van, regstelling van, aanvulling van en uitwissing van u persoonlike inligting te verkry, om 'n verduideliking van hierdie Beleid te versoek, en om toestemming terug te trek of u rekening te kanselleer.
